Dr. Lem Ngongalah

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Dr. Ngongalah leads the development and implementation of CORE Africa’s programmes, and is the main liaison link between the board and external stakeholders. She’s also a research mentor with the CARMS scheme.

Dr. Ngongalah is a Public Health Researcher with a background in Epidemiology and Nutrition. She has expertise in quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods research, systematic reviews and evidence syntheses. Her academic experiences include student research supervision, research training, peer review and delivering research seminars and workshops.

Niba Rawlings

PROGRAM OFFICER

Mr. Niba is responsible for the planning and management of CORE Africa’s programmes, and ensuring that they are in line with the overall mission.

Mr Niba is an Environmental Health Practitioner at the Ministry of defence in the UK. He has expertise in Public Health and Biomedical sciences. He formerly served as Director of the Medical Laboratory Program at the HAMANI Institute in Cameroon; and also as lecturer in Bacteriology, Parasitology, Haematology, Mycology, Virology and Immunology. He’s also a mentor in the CORE Africa Research Mentorship Scheme.

James Musisi

DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY

Mr. Musisi works in tandem with the management team to determine the suitability and effectiveness of CORE Africa’s programmes in view of the overall goals. He provides advice  on strategic initiatives and program monitoring.

Mr. Musisi is a Policy and Project Management professional with a background in Public Health, Food science and Nutrition. He is a Policy Advisor (Europe) at The Royal Society in the UK and formerly served as Program Management Officer at the Ministry of justice.

Prof. Andrew Ssemwanga

PROGRAM ADVISOR

Professor Ssemwanga serves as advisor to CORE Africa, and provides key information to supplement the board’s decisions

Prof Ssemwanga is former Vice Chancellor at St. Lawrence University in Uganda. He has expertise in Corporate governance and is also a trainer, consultant and researcher in various aspects of Higher Education including Academic External Examining, Business Ethics and Teaching and Learning Strategies for Sustainable Development. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors based in the UK

Etienne Jam

ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

Etienne facilitates CORE Africa’s programmes and engagements in Cameroon.

 

Dr. Kimonia Awanchiri

program facilitator

Dr. Awanchiri is a Medical practitioner, with medical and research experience in Cameroon and Uganda. She supports the planning and implementation of CORE Africa’s programmes in both countries.
